South Africa win by 2-0 against Sri Lanka in test:-

    South Africa whitewash Sri Lanka in test series and won by 2-0. South Africa is always favorite in his home condition, it is never easy to play against South Africa in his condition in front of his quality bowling attack. Sri Lankan batsman failed to build big innings and partnerships even though some Lankan players played good knocks but only  Captain Dimuth Karunaratne managed to complete his test hundred.

    In 1st test, Sri Lanka batted 1st and score 396 & 180 runs , not even a single batsman score a hundred even though some Lankan players hit 50 mark but failed to convert it into 3 digits innings. in response South Africa score 621 runs in single innings which are more then Lankan two innings score. Faf du Plessis score 199 his career best but unfortunately missed his maiden double hundred in test. South Africa won 1st test match of the series by an innings and 45 runs. Faf du Plessis awarded Man of the Match award for his career best 199 runs.

    In 2nd test, Sri Lanka again batted 1st and this time his score was 157 & 211, only Captain Dimuth Karunaratne score hundred and few other batsman score hall centuries but failed to convert them into big score, South African again batted well in 2nd test and score 302 & 67/0 , Dean Elgar score hundred , South Africa win 2nd test by 10 wickets. Dean Elgar awarded Man of the Match award for his hundred , and also Elgar awarded Man of the series award for his 95 runs in 1st and 127 runs in 2nd test.

    South Africa vs Sri Lanka series effect on ICC championship:- South Africa won 2 match test series by 2-0 so he got 120(60+60) points . Currently Africa is on 5th position above Pakistan with 144 points and PCT of 0.400, Sri Lanka is at 7th position with 80 points and PCT of 0.222.

Last words on South Africa win by 2-0:-

    Win and Loss is part of the game but team spirit is more important, both teams played well but 

South Africa is better as compared to Sri Lanka , so he won.
